How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Duane R. “Skip” Rogers is one of the two founding partners for Capture Planning Solutions, LLC who established the firm in 2005. Skip serves as Partner and Chief Executive Officer.
Skip has over 35 years of experience assisting large and small companies to expand their business base and government contract portfolio. He is an expert in the areas of strategic planning, capture development, creating winning proposals, competitive marketplace training, course design, and public speaking. He served as Principal of D.R. Rogers Associates for over 27 years consulting for companies such as IBM, GTE, Intelsat, Burroughs’s, BAH, and Lockheed Martin. He and wife Kathy authored and published “Who, What, Where In Silicon Valley”, 1983. Prior to these accomplishments, he proudly served in the U.S. Army Military Police-Canine from 1968-1970. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Able Forces, Inc. a charitable non-profit organization specifically focused on job opportunities, training, and retraining of Wounded Warriors and severely disabled veterans. Able Forces is an Ability One set-aside provider. He is also a Board of Directors member of American Freedom Foundation, founded by the former Sgt Major of the Army Jack Tilley, focusing on the support of our warfighters and families.
