What is your primary product or service?
Custom and stock awards, recognition items, emblematic jewelry, signage and advertising specialty items.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After spending 8 years touring the country designing lighting and stage shows for concerts, fashion shows and corporate events, it was time to settle down. I started working in the production department at Award Crafters in Fairfax Circle, worked up through all levels of the company, met my wife-to-be here and found my niche creating custom designs for awards and displays. 12 years later, Michele and I bought the company and have continued running it for the past 10 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in custom design awards. If you have an idea, we make it real. If you don't know what you want, we discuss themes, corporate culture and budget and then design something to fit your needs.
