How long have you been in business?
The technical start up year was 1952. However, founder, Joseph Ayoub, had been working in the rug selling business through out the 30's and 40's with his brother Hannah in Washington DC.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1952, Joseph Ayoub was the first and original Ayoub to bring rug cleaning and repair to Northern Virginia operating in the Arlington/Falls Church area. After returning from the Korean War, Jack - son of Joseph, stepped in as the second generation as president until his death in 1986. The business would continue to operate with his 4 partners, which happen to be his brothers, until the end of 2001. Then on January 1st 2002, Dan - son of Jack, stepped back into the family business after being gone for 12 years running his own carpet cleaning business in northern Va called ACS which earned top ratings in Consumers Checkbook and got recommendations from Washingtonian Magazine. Today, the family business operates in the most sophisticated cleaning plant on the east coast continuously earning top ratings. With the work ethic instilled in Dan as a child along with the demands of todays' consumer, ACS will always strive to maintain their reputation as being the "best."
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Since we have been in business for nearly 60 years, we have gained a tremendous amount of experience with the many different types of carpet and rugs out there. With that experience we are able to accomodate a cleaning of any caliber. Furthermore, we sincerely and passionately work to exceed the consumers expectations in every aspect of our service. We feel that being "satisfied" is just not enough. Whether you need a cleaning performed or want solid advice on a new flooring, be assured you are getting the very best!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have only one cleaning plant and showroom located in Chantilly, Va and ARE NOT AFFLIATED WITH ANY OTHER BUSINESS THAT USES THE "AYOUB" NAME. There are currently no plans to expand with more locations.

We are located at the crossroads of Pleasant Valley Rd and Rt. 50 at the western edge of Fairfax County. We are 1.5 miles west of Rt. 28 heading towards South Riding from down town Chantilly.
